1.How does the AI write a full script from just a product URL?
It scrapes the page, then writes to a structure rather than freestyling. From the URL it extracts the product name, the benefit claims, the specification block, the price context, the imagery and — where they exist — the customer reviews. Those become the raw material for a UGC-shaped script: hook, problem, the moment of discovery, two or three benefit beats, and a CTA. The reviews matter most. Language a real buyer used about the product converts better than anything a copywriter invents, and lifting phrasing from reviews is the single biggest quality difference between a good generated script and a generic one.

2.What structure does the generated script follow?
The default is a five-beat UGC structure that fits a 30-second ad: a 2-second hook, a problem or context beat, the discovery moment, one to three proof or benefit beats, and a CTA. Roughly 15% of runtime goes to the hook, 50% to problem and proof, and the rest to the close. That allocation is not arbitrary — hook rate is decided in the first two seconds, and hold rate collapses if the proof beats do not start by about second eight. You can restructure freely, but if you are unsure, ship the default and change one beat per iteration.

3.How many script variants do I get from one generation?
One body script plus multiple hook options, which is the right split. Generating five completely different scripts and testing them against each other produces unreadable results, because too many variables move at once. Generating one solid body and three hooks isolates the variable that decides most of your performance. 4.Does the AI actually use my customer reviews?
Yes, where the page exposes them. Review language is prioritised over marketing copy because it carries the specificity that makes UGC believable: “I stopped waking up at 3am”, not “promotes restful sleep”. If your reviews live in a third-party widget that loads after the page, the scraper may not see them, and the script quality drops noticeably as a result. The workaround takes two minutes: paste your ten best review quotes into the brief field manually. Accounts that do this consistently get sharper first drafts than accounts that rely on the URL alone.

5.What exactly does the AI read from my product page?
Title, description, bullet benefits, specifications, price and currency, product images, and reviews when they are in the page HTML. It does not read images as text, so a benefit that only exists inside a graphic on your page is invisible to it. It also does not follow links to sub-pages, so ingredient lists or sizing guides on a separate URL are missed. If a fact matters to the ad, make sure it exists as text on the page you paste — or add it manually in the brief. This one habit removes most complaints about missing product detail.

6.My product page is thin — what should I provide instead?
Give the generator a short brief in place of a rich page: product name, the one problem it solves, three concrete benefits with numbers where you have them, who it is for, price point, and two or three real review quotes. That is around 120 words of input and it outperforms a scraped thin page every time. Be honest that this is a real limitation of URL-driven generation — a page with one photo and forty words of copy cannot produce a specific script, because the specificity has to come from somewhere. Garbage in is still garbage out with AI.

7.Can I generate a script without a product URL at all?
Yes. Enter a product name plus a few bullet points on benefits and audience and the generator works from that alone. This is the normal path for pre-launch products, services and anything not sold on a public page — agencies pitching new business use it constantly. Expect to spend a little more time editing the first draft, because the model has less grounding material. A useful minimum is: what it is, who it is for, the problem, one differentiator, and one proof point. Below that threshold the output turns generic quickly.

8.Why did the AI pick the wrong product from my page?
Almost always because the URL you pasted was a collection page, a bundle page or a page with heavy cross-sell modules, and the scraper had several products to choose from. Paste the individual product URL, not the category. Bundles are the other frequent case: on a page selling a three-pack, the model may write about a single unit. Check the first draft's product name and price against your page before you render — five seconds of checking beats spending credits on a video about the wrong SKU, which is not something an edit can fully fix.

9.Can I edit the script before rendering?
Every line is editable before you spend a credit on a render, and you should always read it once end to end. The editor works line by line so you can rewrite a single hook without disturbing the body, adjust a claim, or delete a beat entirely. Editing costs nothing — credits are consumed at render, not at generation. The habit worth building is reading the draft out loud. Anything you stumble over will make the avatar stumble too, and awkward phrasing is the single most common cause of the flat delivery people blame on the voice model.

10.Can I paste in my own script instead?
Yes, and the avatar performs it verbatim. This is the right path when you already have a proven human-filmed script you want to scale, when legal has approved specific wording, or when you are in a regulated vertical where the copy cannot move. You can also use the AI assist selectively — keep your structure and ask it to punch up only the hook line. Two constraints: write for speech, not for a page, and keep sentences under 15 words. Written-for-print sentences are the fastest way to make a good avatar sound synthetic.

11.Can I regenerate just one line or one scene?
Yes. You can regenerate an individual line, a whole beat or the hook set without touching the rest of the script, and after rendering you can regenerate a single scene without re-rendering the entire video. That granularity is what makes iteration cheap. It also changes how you should test: when hook rate is weak but hold rate is fine, regenerate hooks only. When people watch to 15 seconds but never click, the CTA and the proof beats are where to work, and the hook is not your problem at all.

12.Does editing or regenerating a script cost credits?
Script generation and text editing do not consume credits — credits are spent when video renders. Regenerating a rendered scene does consume credits, because it produces new video. Practically this means you should do all your thinking in the script stage, where iteration is free, rather than rendering four versions and picking one. A free account has 50 credits, and teams that draft carefully before rendering get roughly twice as many usable ads out of that allowance as teams that render every draft to see how it looks.

13.Can I teach it my brand voice?
You can set a tone profile — vocabulary, register, sentence length, level of formality, banned phrases — and it applies to every generation in that workspace. Feed it three examples of copy you consider on-brand rather than describing the voice in adjectives; “friendly and premium” means nothing to a model, whereas three paragraphs of your actual writing means a great deal. Revisit the profile quarterly. The most common failure is a tone profile written by one person during onboarding that nobody has updated since the brand repositioned.

14.How do I stop the scripts sounding like every other AI ad?
Ban the tells, explicitly. “Game-changer”, “obsessed”, “I was today years old”, “let me put you on to”, “this literally changed my life” — every one of these appeared in ten thousand ads last year and audiences pattern-match them as advertising within two seconds. Add them to your banned-phrase list. Then force specificity: a number, a time period or a named situation in the hook. “Day 14 and my hairline moved” outperforms “this changed everything” consistently, because the first is a claim a real person makes and the second is a slogan.

15.Can I ban specific words or phrases?
Yes, and regulated advertisers should treat this as a required setup step rather than an option. Add your prohibited terms to the workspace list — “cure”, “guaranteed”, “clinically proven”, “eliminates”, “passive income”, whatever your counsel has flagged — and the generator avoids them across every script your team produces. This is materially safer than asking each person to remember the rules. It is not a compliance guarantee: the list catches the words you thought of, not the paraphrase a model finds. A human review step before launch is still required.

16.How do I keep 40 ads consistent in voice?
Lock the body, vary the opening. Consistency at volume comes from having two or three approved body scripts per product and generating hook variants against them, rather than generating forty independent scripts and hoping they rhyme. Combine that with a workspace tone profile and a banned-phrase list, and voice drift largely stops being a problem. Add one manual read-through per batch of ten. In our experience that catch rate is high enough to justify the twenty minutes, and it is the step agencies skip first when they are busy.

17.Does the AI invent facts about my product?
It can, and you must assume it will. Language models fill gaps rather than leaving them, so when your page is missing a detail the script may confidently supply a plausible one — an ingredient you do not use, a delivery window you do not offer, a percentage nobody measured. This is the single most important thing to check in a first draft. Read every number, every superlative and every comparative claim against your page before you render. It is not a frequent failure, but it only has to happen once in a supplement ad to cause a real problem.

18.How do I stop it making health or income claims?
Three layers, and you need all three. Set your banned-phrase list at workspace level so the model avoids the obvious triggers. Write your own hook and claim lines manually in regulated verticals rather than generating them, because that is where the risk concentrates. Then run a human review before launch against the actual platform policy. Meta and TikTok both reject implied outcome claims in health, finance and supplements, and the rejection usually comes from a phrase the advertiser thought was hedged. The generator reduces exposure; it does not remove it.

19.Who is responsible if a generated claim turns out to be false?
You are. 20.Does it handle prices and discounts correctly?
It reads the price shown on the page at the moment you generate, which creates a specific trap: a script generated during a sale bakes the sale price into the voiceover, and it is still there three weeks later when the promotion has ended. Price claims in the audio are also expensive to fix, since correcting them means a re-render rather than a caption edit. Our recommendation for evergreen creative is to keep exact prices out of the spoken script entirely and put them in on-screen text, which you can update without regenerating video.

21.How long should the script be for a 30-second ad?
Around 70–80 spoken words. A natural UGC delivery pace is roughly 2.5 words per second, so a 30-second ad lands in that range and a 15-second hook test is about 35–40 words. Writing 110 words for a 30-second slot forces the voice to rush, which is instantly audible and hurts hold rate. If your draft is long, cut the second benefit beat rather than speeding up delivery — one benefit stated clearly beats three benefits crammed in, and paid placements almost never reward density.

22.How do I control pacing and the number of scenes?
Set the scene count rather than the word count and pacing follows. A 30-second ad works well at 6–9 scenes, which gives you a cut every 3–5 seconds — fast enough to hold attention and, usefully, short enough that avatar artefacts never sit on screen long enough to be noticed. Ads with three long scenes feel slow on a phone regardless of how good the copy is. If you want more energy without rewriting, raise the scene count and let the same script cut faster before you touch a single line.

23.Why does my rendered video run longer than the script suggested?
Because pauses, breaths and the CTA card all take real time that a word count does not capture. Expect a 10–15% overrun between the estimate and the finished render, and more if you have written in deliberate beats. Ads render best at 15–60 seconds, so this rarely matters — until you are targeting a hard 15-second placement, where a 17-second render forces a re-edit. When a fixed duration is a hard requirement, write 10% short and check the preview before you commit to the full render.

24.Can the AI write natively in other languages?
Yes, in 30+ languages for both script and voiceover, and it generates natively rather than translating an English draft behind the scenes. Native generation matters because hooks are idiomatic: the curiosity structure that works in English rarely maps word for word into Hindi or Spanish. A locally written hook against a translated body script is a good compromise when your team can only review one part. Match the voice to the market you are buying media in, not just to the language family.

25.Should I write in English and translate, or generate natively?
Translate the body, generate the hook natively. Body copy carries facts and translates cleanly, so a proven English body script keeps its structure in a new market and you keep the comparability of your test. 26.Where does the script AI still fail in non-English languages?
Three places we see repeatedly. Hyper-local slang lands about a generation behind, so scripts can read as slightly dated to a young audience. Formality register is unreliable in languages that mark it grammatically — a script may switch between formal and informal address inside one video. And number, currency and date formats sometimes carry English conventions across. None of these are hard to fix in editing, but all of them need a native speaker to catch, and none of them are visible to an English-only reviewer approving the file.
