UGC Script Skeleton Library: 10 Structures with Timings
Six named UGC script skeletons — PAS, unboxing, 3-reasons, myth-bust, day-in-the-life and testimonial — each broken into second-by-second beats you can brief or generate directly.
A blank page is the slowest part of making a UGC ad. This library gives you six proven script skeletons, each broken into second-by-second beats, so you're filling in specifics instead of inventing structure from nothing every single time you brief a new creative.
A skeleton is a beat map, not a rigid script
Each structure below tells you what has to happen and roughly when, not the exact words. The beats are the load-bearing part: skip the 'agitate' beat in a PAS script and the solution lands with no tension behind it; skip the 'honest caveat' beat in a testimonial and it reads as an ad instead of a real opinion. Treat the timings as guardrails, not handcuffs — a beat can run a couple seconds long if the delivery earns it, but if a single beat eats more than 40% of the runtime, the structure has collapsed into a different one.
Match the skeleton to what you actually have to show
PAS and myth-bust work best when you have a real before/after or a genuinely counterintuitive claim to demonstrate. Unboxing needs an actual unopened product and an unscripted-feeling reaction — it's the weakest skeleton to fake. 3-reasons is the safest default when you don't have dramatic proof, just solid, ordinary benefits. Day-in-the-life needs a product that fits naturally into a routine, not one that requires an explanation. Testimonial needs an honest caveat or it stops sounding like UGC and starts sounding like a script — which, ironically, is the fastest way to tank performance on a format whose entire appeal is not sounding like an ad.
Using these skeletons at speed
Once you've picked a skeleton, the fastest path is writing the beat-by-beat outline yourself and having an AI UGC tool like Klip Kanvas turn it into a full script with an avatar performance, rather than starting from an empty prompt. Feed it the beat structure and your product URL, generate two or three deliveries of the same skeleton, and pick the one where the pacing actually lands — the skeleton keeps every version comparable, so you're judging delivery, not guessing at structure.
6 full script skeletons inside, each with second-by-second beats: Problem-Agitate-Solution, Unboxing/first-impression, 3-Reasons-Why, Myth-Bust, Day-in-the-life/demo, and Testimonial-result — 38 beats total, ready to brief or generate from.
